Hi, I’m Frederich de Koker, and welcome to my portfolio website. I’m a Siena College Computer Science graduate, former collegiate rugby player, and passionate developer with a love for writing clean, useful, and personable code.

I designed and built this website toward the end of my college career as a way to showcase my work, get my résumé out there, and hopefully help me land my first job in software engineering. Spoiler… it worked.

Originally from South Africa, I came to the U.S. to study and in search of an opportunity to build a career here. Along the way, I’ve worked on a variety of mobile and web applications, many of which you can find throughout this website.

Today, I’m an Associate Software Engineer at Jahnel Group, where I’ve had the opportunity to transition from college into a professional working environment. Being part of a team, collaborating with different people, communicating effectively, and taking on real responsibilities has helped me grow not only as a developer, but as a person and young professional.
